What is the difference between flat-cut and fabricated 3D metal letters?+
Flat-cut letters are laser-cut from a single sheet of metal (2mm-6mm thick) and mounted with stand-off pins for a floating shadow effect. Fabricated 3D letters have welded returns creating genuine depth (20mm-100mm), giving a more substantial, premium appearance. Fabricated letters can also house internal LEDs for illumination. Flat-cut is more economical; fabricated is more premium.
What is a blade sign and when should I use one?+
A blade sign (also called a projecting sign or flag sign) is a double-sided sign that projects outward from a building wall on a bracket or arm. It's visible to pedestrians and traffic approaching from both directions along the street — unlike flat-mounted signs which are only visible from directly in front. Blade signs are ideal for retail strips, cafes, bars, and any location where foot traffic passes along the building facade.
Which metal is best for outdoor signs in Perth?+
